General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for stays at the Rosenberg Ayurveda Health and Spa Center
1. Registration and conclusion of contract
Registration for a treatment program is made in writing or via our online booking system. With your registration you submit a binding offer to conclude a contract. The contract is only concluded upon receipt of our written confirmation of registration. Only then is the deposit due.
2. Terms of payment
After receipt of the confirmation of registration, a deposit must be paid in accordance with the payment instructions. The deposit must be paid within 7 days of receipt of the confirmation of registration. The remaining amount must be paid in full no later than four weeks before the start of the course.
3. Withdrawal and cancellation by the participant
You can withdraw from the contract at any time before the start of the course. The date on which we receive your written declaration of withdrawal is decisive.
In the event of withdrawal or non-attendance, the following flat-rate compensation will be charged
- up to 30 days before the start of the course: 20 % of the service price
- 29 to 15 days before the start of the course: 45 %
- 14 to 8 days before the start of the course: 60
- 7 to 1 day before the start of the cure: 75 %
- on the day of arrival or in case of no-show: 90 %
We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance.
You reserve the right to provide evidence of a lower loss.
Please note: In the event of exceptional, unavoidable circumstances (e.g. natural disasters, pandemics) which significantly affect the implementation of the cure, the participant is not obliged to pay compensation.
4. Rebooking
There is no entitlement to rebooking. If a rebooking is possible and reasonable, it can be made under the following current conditions
A one-off change of date up to 30 days before the start of the course is possible free of charge (subject to availability and at the then current prices).
For any further changes up to 30 days before the start of the course, we charge a processing fee of € 150
From the 29th to the 15th day before the start of the cure, we charge 20% of the service price as a rebooking fee
From the 14th day onwards, a change of date is deemed to be a withdrawal with subsequent rebooking (see section 3). In this case, the above-mentioned processing fee does not apply.
5. Cancellation or changes by the organizer
If the course is canceled by us or does not take place, we will refund any payments already made without delay. There are no further claims.
We reserve the right to replace announced course leaders or therapists with equally qualified specialists. There is no entitlement to specific persons.
6. Cancellation of the cure by the participant
In the event of premature termination or non-utilization of individual services by the participant, no refund will be made if the reason lies within the responsibility of the participant (e.g. illness)
Excluded from this are expenses saved or compensation received on our part. Any outstanding amounts will be charged less such items.
7. Room booking
When you register, you indicate your room preference. If this is not available, we will rebook you into a higher or lower room category according to your stated preference. You will be informed of the resulting price change. With your registration you agree to the possible price adjustment.
8. Health responsibility and liability
Illnesses or health restrictions must be reported to the spa management before the start of your stay.
Participation in our programs, treatments and consultations is always at your own risk. We accept no liability for health risks, especially in the case of known or concealed pre-existing conditions. We are only liable for damages in the event of intentional or grossly negligent behavior on the part of our employees or agents.
Our regeneration, Rasayana, wellness and retreat offers are intended as supplementary measures to promote health. They do not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.
Even medically supervised cures under the guidance of alternative practitioners or doctors do not replace ongoing therapy, but serve to supplement it.
No liability is accepted for the success of the cure.
9. Health questionnaire (medical history)
For optimal preparation of the cure, you undertake to complete and submit the appropriate health questionnaire at least 20 days before arrival. The data will be treated as strictly confidential and will only be viewed by authorized personnel.in rare cases, the spa manager may advise against the spa treatment. In this case, you will be contacted by telephone immediately after viewing the questionnaire. In the event of a refusal by us, you will only receive a refund of the amounts paid. There are no further claims in this case.
10. Reimbursement of costs for medical spa treatments
If you wish, you can receive an invoice for medical services in accordance with the scale of fees for doctors (GOÄ) or the list of fees for alternative practitioners, issued by the doctor or alternative practitioner in question. Please note that naturopathic procedures are generally not covered by statutory health insurance companies. Private health insurers and supplementary health insurers may reimburse such services in accordance with their contract, without us being able to accept any liability for this.
11. Disclaimer
The methods used at the Rosenberg Ayurveda Health and Spa Center are based on traditional Ayurvedic teachings and centuries of experience. It is a complementary medical offer. Scientifically proven findings in the sense of Western conventional medicine are not available in all areas.
We are actively involved in studies for the further scientific substantiation of Ayurveda.

12. Behavior at the center
We ask our guests to behave respectfully and attentively towards other participants, patients or spa guests, staff and the center's premises. Disruptions to the course of events, in particular repeated breaches of our house rules, may lead to exclusion from the treatment program without entitlement to a refund.
13. Right of withdrawal
Cancellation policy according to § 355 BGB:
You have the right to revoke your contractual declaration within 14 days without giving reasons. The period begins on the day the contract is concluded

Consequences of withdrawal
In the event of withdrawal, we will refund all payments made within 14 days of receipt of the notice of withdrawal. The refund will be made using the same means of payment that you used, unless otherwise agreed.
If you have requested that the cure begins during the withdrawal period, a pro rata amount for services already rendered shall be paid

14. Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations (in particular the General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR). Health-related data is used exclusively for the purpose of preparing and conducting the cure and is only accessible to authorized personnel.

15. Vouchers
Vouchers are valid for three years from the date of issue. Cash payment is excluded. Transfer to other persons is possible with prior written consent.
16. Special dates, public holidays and prices
- The prices quoted in brochures, flyers or general information material refer to regular spa appointments and serve as non-binding preliminary information.
- Different prices may apply for special dates (in particular New Year's Eve, public holiday or special programs). Only the price confirmed at the time of booking shall apply.
- By completing the booking, the guest accepts the total price shown as binding.
- Additional services within the scope of special dates (e.g. festive menus, evening programs or special events) may be included in the spa price without being shown separately.
- Price discrepancies between different information media do not constitute grounds for a refund or price adjustment, provided that the confirmed booking price has been adhered to.
