Christmas cookies "Buddha cookies"


These aromatic Buddha cookies enchant the Christmas season with fine Ayurvedic spices and have a wonderfully calming effect on the mind.


For you: due to the requests, here is the recipe for the Christmas cookies.

 

  • 300 g flour (e.g. spelt flour)
  • 100 g sugar (e.g. brown sugar)
  • Pulp of 1 1/2 vanilla pods
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 275 g butter
  • 100 g finely chopped almonds
  • 1-2 teaspoons of Sweet Krishna

 

Preparation:

Sift the flour onto a work surface. Make a well in the center. Add the sugar, vanilla and salt. Spread the cold butter cut into small pieces on top. Sprinkle over the almonds and work quickly to form a smooth dough. Place the dough in the fridge for an hour. Then roll out the dough into small portions and cut out thin shapes. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 8-10 minutes until light brown. Sprinkle the hot cookies several times with powdered sugar. Makes approx. 90 - 100 pieces.
